Sea Moss on a Vegan Diet

A vegan diet can be difficult from time to time when looking for foods or ingredients to help supplement the day-to-day intake of vitamins and other nutrients. Often times looking to supplements in pill form or searching for super foods. Adding sea moss to your daily routine can be an easier way to add some of the missing nutrients as a new super food.

Sea moss being not only a super food but also vegan, and gluten free. Including nutrients such as fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and minerals such as iron and magnesium. Adding sea moss to the daily diet or as an ingredient into foods can also help feeling fuller longer.

It can take three to six weeks for sea moss to start making noticeable changes in your body, but it may take less time if you're deficient in iodine. While it may take some time to see noticeable changes you may begin feeling smaller changes like energy levels and a new connection with foods much sooner.

Adding sea moss to a vegan diet can give you the ability to have foods that were previously cut out. It is a great thickening agent thus being a great item to use to make a vegan ice cream, pudding and other desserts. Other foods commonly seen using sea moss to make a vegan alternative are soups, jams, egg replacement, smoothies and salad dressing just to name a few.
